I'm sorry...

For not writing about my day at work the past few days. I have been so tired with everything I have been doing after work that I get home exhausted and just wanna sleep but can't because I had to study. So I will catch you up and then try to explain what I actually will be doing. I am working for a company called NewPros. They are a company that sells new homeowners names and addresses to business so they can send them their advertisements directly with their names instead of just "current resident" or something to that extent. Anyways. I cold call these small to medium businesses and offer them our services. It will be $10 an hour or commissions whichever is higher. I'm aiming for the higher of course. Anyways. There are a bunch of haters in my training class. Each day we are given a challenge and test...well I have aced all of them and not everyone has done that...so they give me the dirty looks. And most aren't even talking to me know. They think I am kissing ass or something...WTH! Just because I am not goofing around in the class and actually listening when he is talking cannot be helped. I am trying to make the most of what I can do to make money. So today I walked into class and didn't say anything to anyone. I hate having to do that because you all know I love to talk. So today we took our first real calls and I was really nervous. I definately got hung up on by a few people and I was getting discouraged. Until I got my first sale...I actually had 2 sales in 3 hours. That is really good for a newbie. There were a few people in the class that also got a sale but they were still hating me cuz I had 2. But at least some of them were talking to me. I forgot to mention how the commission works. For every sale you make you get 80% of the price into points. Once you hit 900 points you start getting commission. Each point turns into $1 and as long as you hit 900 pts each pay period you get that in money. So today I got 150 in those 3 hours. So tomorrow when I am on for 5 hours I am gonna try hard to double that. There is a chick there that gets 3000 pts a pay period. So that is $3000 every 2 weeks. That's what I'm talking about right. And they also have like little bonus prizes during the day. And when I got my first sale they were giving $5 cash to each person that sold something...so I got $5. They weren't having anything with the 2nd one but I did get to bring my 2 balloons home and the boys were excited to see them. I am nervous about tomorrow as its out with all the other ballers. And what if I cack...lol. I will just do my best and whatever happens happens right.
I was late Monday and Weds. I was mad because the routes I took to get to work killed me. I made a good choice Tues and Thurs. I am trying to find the quickest way and avoid all traffic. I have discovered getting off on Sawmill and taking it to Powell Rd 750 gets me there within 30 mins from dropping Diego off. I am hoping to get a babysitter close by so I don't have to leave my house so early. Especially since work doesn't start til 830 and I am leaving at 710. Today I was really early with taking the back roads so maybe I will leave a few mins later and see what happens. Tomorrow is Anne's last day. Then if I don't find a close sitter Sheri is gonna watch Diego. Of course that is a mission but Sheri is sweet to do it for me all the same. I love her for that. I know she wants to get back to work too. One of the sucky things is that I don't get a paycheck til 11/3 which means a month without getting paid. Their pay periods for first time is way off the charts. But then every 2 weeks. Which is normal.
Well I have to go finish studying for my last test tomorrow. Talk to ya'll more later. Jennifer

It's funny...

How time is flying by. It seems like just yesterday I posted in here. I have been so busy doing random crap I lose track of everything. Everything is good right now thank goodness. I don't know what I would be doing if it wasn't. I have so much I am trying to get done and then next thing I know it is time to have it done.

My birthday came and went. Julian and the boys got me my favorite flowers (gerbera daisies), chocolate covered strawberries (which were bad when I got them since the place didn't deliver on the weekends), and we went out to dinner at Buca Di Beppo. I love that place. Julian also got me tickets to Nick Lachey whose concert was supposed to be the 3rd but he got sick and now it is postponed til the 24th. I didn't find out til I was practically at Sheri's to pick her up to go with me. I was all cute with no where to go...wth!

I have been on a few interviews and got let down with no call backs. Until I went to the interview at NewPros. I had actually applied there and gotten called before to interview but I wasn't really ready to work yet...I liked staying home. But right now money is getting tight so whatever. So I went on the interview Weds and really liked the office and people that worked there. The girl I interviewed with (Krista) was so nice and she gave me a tour of the place, did the regular interview stuff, and then offered me the job! Can you believe it! I actually start tomorrow. I have training for a week and then I am thrown with the dogs to sell my ass off. Which I will do so I get some commission money. I need to get in the hang of it quick. I'm excited but nervous since I haven't been to work in over a year.

Diego's birthday party is this upcoming Saturday! My baby will be 1 already. I have almost everything ready. I still need to get a pinata, cake, and the hamburger buns. I think I have everything else. We will have an entertainer, bbq, and lots of kids there. It will be fun! (I hope!) I had his pics done by my friend Tracey and they turned out so good. And my fave is of the boys together looking at the butterfly in D's hand. Its a great one! It looks like something out of a catalog or ad with kids.

I have started my business with Tastefully Simple. I had my Blast Off! party on Friday night. It was fun. I was nervous I was gonna be boring but it turned out well. It didn't start on time but it was okay. It gave me a chance to finish getting everything ready. I was working on it all day but the time kept going when I sat down for a rest. Typical. I was in the shower when the first person got here. Luckily it was Tracey and she was early anyways. I invited a few new people. Stacy is my neighbor in the condo's and Mariel is a mommy in the group but I had never met her before. It was nice to see the good ol' friends too. Shannan, Sheri, Andrea, Rebekah and Sabrina. I already have a few other parties planned. Actually I am doing a few with Sheri's Pampered Chef and a few without. I am also hoping to get a fundraiser going with Gabriel's school. It will be great for networking as well as meeting some more people.

Shannan made fun of my shpealing of everything that has been happened in my blogs. I just have so much that happens that I forget to write about them and then they all come to my head as I am typing so it is all over the place. I am hoping everyone else is doing alright though. I know a few of you had a lot of things going on with you as well. I sometimes feel overwhelmed with it and then realize everything turned out fine. But I always question myself. I have a form of OCD I think...over thinking. Some days I can't get to sleep because I have so much running through my head at once.
