Good stuff!

Last night I was applying to jobs like crazy. I didn't think I was gonna get so many responses back so quickly. This morning when I was getting Gabriel ready for school the phone rang. It was OfficeTeam (a temp agency) that I had applied for I think 5 jobs they had posted. So I have an interview there tomorrow at 130. I was very giddy after that. I felt like maybe my luck is going up. When I got home from babysitting at the gym, there were 2 emails and a message on the machine. So glad I bought that thing now. I responded back to the emails and called the other rep back. She wanted to know my salary requirements...I hope I didn't scare them away.
I was going through my closet for something to wear tomorrow but everything is too big now so of course I had to go shopping. I think I like shopping again. What a good thing to have back. So Julian was with me to help me since I am often hard on myself. But I was so excited when I put on the 16s and they fit but kinda loosely so I asked for a 14. They are a little snug but they aren't "muffin toppin" or anything. My butt looks nice as a few people there pointed out. Kinda flattering. So I bought 3 button down shirts and 3 dress pants. I was only gonna get one outfit but was so excited I bought all 3 outfits. And since they can be mixed and matched it was worth the $150 I spent. The pants are more than I would normally spend on pants $35 a piece but I felt good in them. Normally I hate the way I look in dressier stuff. But not this time. Even the dressing room attendant helped me mix and match and suggest stuff to me.
Today was my first day babysitting at the gym. I liked it. Diego did too. He was so exhausted when we got home he took and hour and half long nap. Only one nap today...big shocker there. And it was longer than 30 minutes I was stoked. I got to get a few loads of laundry done so I had a very productive day.
Tomorrow I am gonna go to the gym and see what I wanna do...I need to tone my upper body now. I have noticed my lower stomach shrinking but I need my arms to not be so "hi-bye" like. Then gotta come home get dressed and take Gabriel and Diego to Sheri's house (Thanks Sheri!) and venture out to my interview. I get nervous and gittery as the time gets closer but I am hoping it all works out. Sheri gave me some good suggestions that I hope I don't forget. LOL! So wish me good luck as I could use it all now.
Gonna try to get some beauty sleep now. Night! Jennifer

What the heck!

Do I have a sign on my head that says "APPLY BAD LUCK HERE!" ?Because it seems to be following me everywhere. I haven't been having that great of luck lately with anything I do.

Okay so you guys remember that stuffing envelope thing. WHAT A SCAM!! I got the paperwork today on it and basically you are posting ads in the papers to have people send you money to do the same to others. WTH!!! I was so excited about it too...I can't believe I fell for that crap. I guess I wanted it more for the convenience...should've known it was a fake. TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE as they say. UGH!

I haven't been feeling very well for multiple reasons. I am stoked about going to CA but since I don't have a job or much money left I can't just stay home like I wanted to do. I have to get a job and then try to find a cheap sitter because I can't make enough to put the kids in a daycare. Pain in the ass it is I tell you.

I have come to the conclusion that I will not be getting married anytime soon because really you need money to do that because I have waited a long time and want a big party. I want to have a house but again you need money for that. I have been losing weight which is great but at the same time not because now I have to buy some new pants since my pants have been falling down on me...I hate belts and they make me look fatter so I don't use them. And everything just comes down to lack of funds to do what I want.

We are going to CA in Dec and I have been wanting to take the boys to Disneyland but unless my aunt buys us the tickets we wont be doing that either. I love that place. I guess I just need to learn to economize huh...I just hate it because I didn't have to do that before moving here. I have become spoiled to staying home with my kids. I love it but miss work. I'm simply torn I guess.

Things have been rough here at home to and that is adding to my stress baggage. I really don't want to go into that right now but maybe someday I will elaborate on it.

I have also decided that I am going to become a Tastefully Simple rep since no one else in the mommy groups I am in is one but they like the stuff. Might as well make some money doing that. I love their foods and then I can even sell to my friends and family in CA since they are now sending the orders directly to the people instead of to the hostess or consultant. I'm very excited but I know that isn't gonna let me stay home. But I have learned my lesson from selling Avon don't spend more than you make on the supplies...lol. Because you only end up with leftovers...I know!

Its good to vent sometimes. I have been staying up late these past few days just pondering things and it has been very frustrating to me. I end up taking tylenol pm just to get to sleep only it seems to take hours to kick in. I have been exhausted. I finally got out on Sunday to go to Sheri's Stampin Up party which of course hooked me...lol...I'm easily hooked I guess. Anyways. I have decided that I am gonna make my parents and Julian's parents mini scrapbooks for Christmas. I have tons of papers, stickers, pictures, and stamps to do it. I just need to buy the mini albums. I know my mom will enjoy it most. She loves and misses the boys so much. I feel guilty taking them away sometimes. But I try to do what's best for my family (the boys).

I am all over the place tonight I know. Sorry about the ranting. Jennifer

WhooHOO!!!

Okay so I was all logged off and shut down the computer. Ran downstairs to take my pill and decided I would weigh myself. I am officially in the 180s. I am outta of the 200s and the 190s. I am not 188! So that means I have lost 15 lbs and that is with a week off of a diet. I haven't walked in a quite a few days. Now I feel bad. Imagine if I had been doing all those things for the past week. I could've lost more. But I am happy and had to turn the computer on to share it before I forgot to tell you guys. I am so excited.

I was looking at costumes online today trying to decide what I wanted to dress up as. I wanted to be Mrs Potts. but kept getting outbid on Ebay and I don't wanna spend $75 on a costume. I was trying to debate on being a Southern Belle or something like that but then I asked Gabriel what I should be and he said Minnie Mouse. I'm lost and torn because the I loved some of the dresses I saw on EBAY but I haven't a thing to wear under it (the hoop thing) and what kind of shoes did they wear back then or how did they wear their hair. I never do anything with my hair so I have no idea. LOL! I am just a little confused. Minnie Mouse is fun though...but haven't decided for sure.

Well I am gonna go to bed now. Hopefully this Tylenol PM will help me sleep. Night. Jennifer

Finally...

I finally found a place that carried the Blue's Clues party supplies. They were out of everything but the center pieces and 2 packages of invites/thank you cards. So I grabbed the cards and a centerpiece and asked the sales person if they were gonna be getting more and she assured me they would be. WHEW!! I was getting worried because that is the theme I wanted for him but couldn't find it. It is the Blue's Room theme which is cute. Diego loves Blues Clues. When he hears Blue talking he gets excited. Funny since he is so little but very entertaining all the same.

My friend, Tracey, told me about the gym she goes to that is free if you babysit one day a week. It is the Golds Gym/Jazzersize place off of Main Street/Hilliard-Rome rd. I am so all over that. I start my babysittings on Tuesdays from 930-12 which works out great. It only takes 10 mins to get there and 10 to get back so I will have time to wait for Gabriel. And they let you take your kids while you are watching the other ones. Yay! So now I can work out on other machines. Your body becomes accustomed to the walking so it won't be as effective as if you switch it up. That is why I am excited. I can't wait to see the place. And they said if Julian wanted a membership there too he would get it for only $20 and then when the kids are being watched it is only $1 a child. I can handle $2. Or I can just work out in the mornings while Julian is at work and Gabriel is in school. Works for me.

Well that was all I had to say today. Jennifer

It's Official!

I just got done buying our tickets to CALI!!! YAY!!! I am sooooo excited. We are leaving on Dec 21st as soon as Gabriel gets home from school and won't be getting back til the 2nd of the New Year. I called my mom and she was practically hugging me through the phone. LOL!

I am just waiting to see what is gonna happen with the envelope thing that I sent off for. I could totally use that kinda cash. And if it works out for me I will recommend it to ya'll too. But I will wait and see how it goes. My mom would totally love it too.

She thinks that we are going out there with a million bags or something. She has already started shopping for gifts for the boys. I told her nothing big as we can only take on so many bags. I am gonna look for a new luggage set. Maybe a purple or pink one. There are always black ones going around that turn table and they all look the same. I always put something on them to identify it but how much easier would it be to have a different colored one right. I don't have my own suitcase so I need a new one. I have a HUGE duffel bag on wheels I won from my former job at Verizon.

I also can't wait to lose more weight before going out...totally shock everyone there too. It is gonna be great to show the new and improved...lol. Or so I like to think. I came back from my walk today feeling much better. I hadn't walked in a few days...except my power shopping I did at the outlet, mall, and the regular retail stores.

I am done with the 2 girl parties I have coming in the next month or so. I love shopping for girls since I don't have one it was hard to choose from all the cute stuff of what to get.

I have decided that Diego's party is gonna have a Blue's Clues theme. I got the entertainer booked. I am still waiting to find out if I can reserve and how much the spot is that I want at Homestead because otherwise I am just gonna get there early to pick a spot that works for me. I don't know if I am gonna do a jumper but I do know I want a pinata. But all the ones I have seen have the pull string thing and that isn't fun...I like the ones you have to beat the crap out of. Its fun to watch the kids banging on it. I know Diego will be too small to really do it but it is fun for the older kids. I was also thinking about a little Blue's Clues game of finding the paw prints for the kids to scavenger hunt down. Not sure yet...that will take more thought.

Gabriel had his first soccer game today and he was exhausted at the end. And the boys and I were all rosy cheeked. It was quite warm out but it was fun to watch the kids chase the ball around. It was pretty brutal to see the kids falling over each other and I totally understand the shin guards cause the kids were just kicking at anything...lol.

I have quite a few parties coming up in the next few months. I just have to keep them organized and it will all be fine. I hope...crossing my fingers. Well I am gonna surf the net again. Hopefully find something interesting. Jennifer

I thought...

I thought I would actually post something not relating to my overeating weekend.

So Saturday was my yard sale at Andrea's. Of course the last one we tried to do was rained out even though it then became sunny the rest of that day. But I digress on that one. Well it did mist all day while we were out there but people were still coming out. Crazy people I tell ya. A few people just wanted to chat...lol. But they were nice. I made $80 but paid Andrea $5 for the John Deere truck she had out there. The boys have loved pushing the buttons and Gabriel loves to ride it around even though it is rather small for him. Its cute.

And today we went to little Michael's 1st birthday party. Diego didn't want to take his nap before. He fell asleep on the ride over and the ride back but he did good while we were there. Only got cranky towards the end. Of course Gabriel had fun because there was a pinata there. He loved playing with Nico too. He loves the older kids that pay attention to him. And of course the cats intrigue him too. Michael looked so excited over his cake and presents. Its such a sight to see the kids enjoying their big day.

I have been trying to think of things to do with Diego's birthday. Julian says we should do a "Go, Diego, Go" party. I thought that was mean but whatever. I wanna have the party outside but the girls were saying it is probably gonna be too chilly to do it outside...that sucks! I really wanna have a costume party for him but I know not everyone will fit in our condo. I mean they could but not much room for anything else. I think maybe a bbq at Homestead or something and hire an entertainer for the older kids...although there aren't gonna be that many. Well definately not as many as we would have in CA parties. CRAZY STUFF!

Parties in CA entailed renting a space at the park and having like 30 chickens and 20 tri-tips on the huge bbq pit. Starting at 9am and everyone getting there around 11 and not leaving til around 5. Ordering 2 sheets of the best cake ever made. One banana with banana fillings and one white cake with sliced strawberry filling...OMG !!! SOOO GOOD!!! We ordered a Jumper, an entertainer, and face painter/balloon artist. We hired my brother's cheerleaders to do the face paintings one year...that was funny stuff. Depending if the whole family would make it out there was always 75-100 people there. It was always fun though. They guys would get a baseball game going and the kids would be running all around. The park had little horses that the kids could ride but they stank like nasty so we never did that. Gosh I miss those days.

Well whatever we do it will be fun right. I have met great people here and they all have great kids. Gabriel definately adores his newfound friends as much as I do. Its getting late and I am exhausted from all my eating...lol...so I will post again soon. Love ya! Jenn

AND THEN...!!!

Okay so I was doing well on the whole diet thing...but I had a few moments of weakness the past few days. Julian took the day off on Friday and we went to lunch and I ate everything but then didn't eat again til Saturday morning. Well really about 11 Saturday. Saturday I was doing the yard sale at Andrea's house so I got the muffin when we were out putting up the signs and stuff. So I ate that and got home around 430 and Julian asked for Rallys and that sounded sooooo good to me. So I had the #6. The wierd thing about this diet thing...I have been craving burgers...I usually only order the chicken sandwiches. Well the #6 is a double western burger (cheese, bacon, onion rings, and bbq sauce)...SOOOO GOOD!!! Oh and I had their fries which are yummy and super greasy...I actually finished the small fries before getting home. I was starving! And THEN!!!... Julian decided that he was gonna go to Brusters and of course I am all for ice cream. So he got me a banana split...again...SOOO GOOD!!! To my defense though I only ate most of it not all of it...lmao. Well I felt sick the whole night after eating all that. UGH! And then today...well I had a brownie at Diana's son's bday party and 2 pieces of cheese pizza. And then...gosh there is a lot of the and then's huh. And when we got home from the party we waited til about 5 before sending me off to get fetch dinner since I hadn't taken anything out in the morning to actually cook. So I had a SMALL Quizno's Chicken Carbonara sandwhich on WHEAT. But then I also went to BK for Gabriel and ordered an apple pie for me. OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I ACTUALLY ATE LIKE THAT! I am definately gonna work extra this week so I don't gain everything I lost back ...that would totally suck. But I must say I didn't eat anything NASTY the past few days...lmao.

Too much technology

So today Julian took the day off which is always nice. We watched Gabriel get on and off the bus. Then we went to get Diego's hair buzzed at Cookie Cutters. I love that place. They are so good with my moving child. Julian thought it would be easier just to take him to the professionals...lol...because Julian gets frustrated with Diego's wiggling.

Then we dropped the laptop off at the "Laptop Guy" in Grandview. They said they won't know anything til Tuesday which sucks but I totally forgot that Monday was a holiday. So we went out and about in search of a new tower for the PC. We went up and down Sawmill like 4 times. And finally we got a new one. I am so glad that I don't have to rely on the laptop to work right. The guy thought it would be the pin in the back of the laptop so hopefully it won't cost another billion dollars.

We went to lunch at Chili's. I know cannot eat dinner because I was so enjoying my Monterey chicken and mashed potatoes...I'm super stuffed right now. I even wanted to get that Apple Tart they have there as I adore anything cooked with apples as a dessert...heck! I just love dessert.

So I have decided I am going to start a list of the things I am going to put on Ebay for the NutriSystem thing...unless any of you want to brave the lack of flavor and incessant NASTINESS of it. LOL! I wouldn't want any of you to get sick like me. So nevermind I am not offering it to any of you. Hopefully I won't be out too much money from what I paid initially. But I like my weight loss...thank you for all your encouraging words. It's nice to have great friends.

So anyone have anything exciting planned for the holiday? I don't think we do. Gabriel has soccer practice if it doesn't rain. Okay so I love rain when I am not having anything going on but the way this rain is just chillin' where it is and not pouring and moving on is driving me nuts. Just rain and go please...thank you. I like that we have a cool day. Although I still don't feel the need to wear a jacket yet.

I picked up one of those little books that have lists of what is going on for the Halloween holiday coming up. I love Halloween (besides Christmas) it is my favorite holiday. But it always seems we pick the neighborhoods that don't have kids that come trick or treating...whats up with that! I love seeing the kids in their costumes. I used to take Gabriel to my parents house and then take Gabriel around a few blocks then help my mom pass out candy. It was fun! I am definately gonna miss that. And now Gabriel and Diego are gonna dress up. How exciting for me. I was even thinking about dressing up. Maybe I will have a little costume party for Halloween...that sounds like fun to me. YAY!! That sounds like something to look into for me. That way I can see all my friends and their kids in costumes.

Okay I gotta go. Talk to ya'll later. Jennifer
